LLoyd Jones Scholarship
Lloyd DeLeon Jones (November 1947 – September 2013) was born in Bath, Westmoreland, Jamaica to Jack and Daisy Jones. He was inspirational, respected, and greatly admired by his family and friends. Children always flocked around him because he would tell stories, laugh, and make funny faces with them. He was a kind, loving and generous gentleman. Lloyd was an avid dancer, the life of the party, full of humour, loved the sea, nature, people and all kinds of sports. He was passionate about music, finances and world affairs.
The Lloyd Jones Scholarship Fund has been established in loving memory, by his wife, Ingrid Jones, in honour of his commitment and dedication to the education of young people, and charitable services.
The scholarship will be directed towards secondary and post-secondary education of needy children in Jamaica.
